Box Brief
31 Heroes Fundraiser is this Saturday, August 6th!
As an annual CFNE tradition, all group classes (7, 8, 9, 10am) will be completing the workout.
Alright… CFNE… announcing, the August Member of the Month!
Eric Bazigian!!!
Let’s get to know Eric a little bit better with some investigative questions below…

Eric Bazigian
1) Eric. Baz. The BazManian Devil. Bazminator. The new Batman, Bazman. I could go on for days, clearly. It’s an honor to announce you as the CFNE Member of the Month! When did you start with us, and do you remember your first workout at CFNE?
Thank you so much for recognizing me for member of the month! It is a great honor! I love going to CFNE everyday because I have made so many wonderful close friends since joining in October 2009. My first workout at CFNE was “Fight Gone Bad” and it is still one of my favorite wods. I love all the movements in this wod!!
2) What’s a day in the life of Eric?
My day begins at 6:30am, and I arrive at work at the Natick Police Department at 7:30am to change into my uniform to be in roll call at 8am. In roll call I am assigned a patrol sector in a cruiser, then I check my equipment, and I work my shift until 4pm or until we are no longer busy responding to calls in town. After work I usually go to the 4:30 class at CFNE, unless of course I get out of work late, then I go to one of the other evening classes. I enjoy going to CFNE after work because there is so much positive energy, and I enjoy ending my day talking with great friends. I either stop at Chipotle or cook dinner at home, then relax, and I am in bed by midnight.
3) You must have had some legit nicknames in your past… and maybe currently. Do share.
My nicknames started in middle school through college, and continue today where friends and coworkers call me Biz, Baz, Bizman, E, or Boo Yea!
4) Would you rather… win $1 billion dollars, or be able to fly?
I would rather win the cash, so I could buy a private jet to travel the globe with family and friends. I would also like to donate and volunteer for charity to help less fortunate people, and help cure all illnesses.
5) Don’t let the recent humidity bias this decision – would you rather own a ski lodge, or a surfing camp?
I would rather own a surfing camp because I absolutely love the warm weather, and summer is my favorite time of year to be outside enjoying activities.
6) You can have a pet *anything*. Anything goes. What’s your go to?
If I could have a pet, I would take our family dog Emma who is a beautiful, kind hearted golden retriever.
7) Deep sea diver or an astronaut?
I would love to be a deep sea diver to enjoy all the magnificent wildlife in the sea.
8) Give us something good. An unknown secret. Are you a superhero? For real this time.
I absolutely love to dance, especially at live concerts, to hip hop, rock n’ roll, and country music. I am a superhero, I love to help people and make a difference in someone’s day.
I am so fortunate to be apart of this wonderful community at CFNE!! Thanks to all of you!
I can’t believe your nick name is “Boo Yea!”. Good luck to anyone trying to top that. Not going to happen.
Eric, we are the fortunate ones. Thank you for not only being such a positive influence to everyone, but also for protecting our community on a daily basis. We literally would not exist without you. It’s an absolute honor for us to have you at CFNE.
Boo Yea!!!
